Deep Plane FACELIFT

Dr. Nizar Merheb performs a Deep Plane Facelift designed to give patients a long-lasting, natural, and youthful appearance. The objective is to achieve a look that is 10 to 15 years younger, providing a more refreshed and revitalized appearance. Before Surgery

During your complimentary consultation, Dr. Merheb will address your concerns and provide a custom treatment plan to achieve optimal results. We will evaluate your medical history to determine your overall health. A second appointment allows staff to provide more detailed pre-operative instructions, discuss risks and benefits of the procedure and review post-operative care.

What does a Deep Plane Facelift entail?

Under general anesthesia in our private surgical suite, Dr. Merheb performs the deep plane face lift through incisions in the hairline and in the natural crease in front of the ear. To obtain the most natural, youthful results, the muscle and deep tissue repositioned, the skin is re-draped without tension and stitches are placed.

How will you look after surgery?

A headwrap and pressure dressing is worn for the first 24 hours and will be removed at our office the next day. No drains are required. Swelling and bruising can vary but are usually resolved within a week or two. Some faint bruising may persist beyond two weeks but can easily be covered by makeup. Minimal discomfort can be expected following the procedure, which can be managed with medications prescribed by your surgeon. You will likely experience tightness in your face for several weeks. To minimize scaring, it is recommended to avoid sun exposure for several weeks after surgery.
